What is this piece of rubbish. I have the installer constantly telling me it failed and I csannot remove it because it is still running. Not good for an Amazon application. I'm using a Mac btw. please tell me how to get rid of it

Posted 8.1.2 version is linked to 8.1.1 download. From what I can discern, 8.1.2 has not yet been released.

Worked great at first then I noticed my TimeMachine backups had stopped. Took me a lot of digging then finally matched dates to changes on Mac and TM last backup. TM still would not work until I brought up a fresh external drive. TM works now on the fresh drive and figure Amazon Photos somehow corrupted old TM external drive for updates. Like Amazon Music, Amazon Photos is removed
